Research on Modeling and Fault-Tolerant Control of Distributed Electric Propulsion Aircraft

Distributed electric propulsion (DEP) aircrafts have high efficiency and low fuel consumption, which is very promising for propulsion. The redundant thrusters of DEP increase the risk fault in system, so it necessary to study fault-tolerant control ensure flight safety. There has been little research on coordinated thrust control, system also preliminary stage. In this study, a mathematical model was built. Aiming at lateral longitudinal aircrafts, method based total energy heading designed. Furthermore, strategy developed faults system. Simulation results showed that controller could prefault level. correctness effectiveness designed were theoretically verified. This provides theoretical basis future engineering application development aircrafts.
